In II Kings Chapter 7 – The city is in desolation and famine – some lepers make a plan to go to the camp of the enemy to get food – they find the entire enemy’s camp is vacated with ALL the provisions and good so of the enemy – left behind and for them! (Which of course – the lepers go back and share the goods and news with their city!)
II Kings 8:1-6 Brings us to the Shunamite woman who is told by the prophet to leave her lands and dwell in a foreign place until the famine is over – this is 7 years. When she comes back, the prophet is telling the king about her son being raised from the dead. The king turns to her and ASSIGNS AN OFFICER to RESTORE ALL that had been lost – including the (value of) the crops that had been received during that time.
God will restore ALL!
