Recently, the Lord told me to get ready by a certain time and I had stopped to encourage someone who was on my heart – now would you not think that was a good thing? But the Lord gently spoke strongly to my heart. My child, why do you prefer to do what you think is best? What if I was trying to keep you from an accident or be ready in appropriate timing for something super important for you or someone else?
In these times, it is so VERY IMPORTANT that we hear what God is saying! God spoke to Elijah and old him to go to a city where a widow would feed him during famine. What if he thought it was best to go to the city?
Lord, help us not only hear you clearly, but obey quickly for our good and the good of our children after us!
