Normally on my blog I just state scripture – but this one jumped out at me this morning. Why are we experiencing so much turmoil in our country. There are many reasons… but just one of them this morning in Ruth 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land…..
- In our United Sates laws were meant to be made by our legislative branch and reviewed and enforced by the judicial branch. At this time in our nation our judicial branch is making law and policy – the result: famine in the land.
- In the book of Ruth, God sent for a young woman who was willing to follow God at all costs, stepping out on faith, trusting where there was no precedence – no previous pattern.
- God will use us and those around us who are willing to follow God at all costs and be one of those who bring deliverance – not only to ourselves, our families and our immediate surrounds . . . . . but maybe even to our nation!
