Today my husband asked me to make him a chicken and rice dinner. When I was ready to serve it – I served a baked chicken and a rice casserole. He thought the chicken would be in the casserole. I had it planned as chicken separate from the casserole. (Just to let you know we both enjoyed the dinner!!!)
How many times though – does God have one thought – and we have another!!! He has souls on His heart and we have many other things….
Lord, We ask you to make our ears keen to hear and our souls tender to your touch that THIS DAY we may do your will and feel the fresh wind of your Spirit to accomplish what is on YOUR HEART. Grant us also the refreshment to run this race well with grace, ease and strength!
